One of the most amazing things about living in Portland is that you can choose almost any type of home and location imaginable. So why not choose paradise? This location is as close as we mortals come to paradise within the city limits. Nestled five minutes from downtown between Portland’s amazing natural green space Tyron Creek State Park and Lewis & Clark the cities most beautiful college campus this home sits in a quiet pocket of sprawling mid-century homes with generous lots. The location in general is blissful and this is the best lot in the entire area. Its perched on top of the hill with a giant grand oak that spreads its arms around the front. Perfect for a swing and the kitchen window frames the oak and the surrounding vista like a painting. The back yard is generous enough for a challenging game of croquet and is bordered by mature fir trees in the far back. The more time I spent there the more I grew to appreciate what a remarkable find this home was. 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths will be more than enough room for this family of five to live a long and comfortable life here. The interior is well preserved but outdated. The buyers are modern design fans that wanted to find the right layout and private setting to create their own modern living space tailored for their family.
