We have been asked every question imaginable from where to shop, send kids to daycare, crime statistics, home repairs, dog walkers, you name it. We do our best to connect our clients with the right people, answers and services when they need our help.
We have created a resource guide full of the people and phone numbers we turn to when we need those answers. Feel free to download a copy and please let us know if you have a business you think deserves a space within those pages. We update the guide once a year and would be happy to check out your referral.

SW Sanctuary for Bike Commuter – and His Dog

When first touring this listing with my client he didn’t even go inside the house for over 20 minutes, instead choosing to tour the pathways on the 1/3 acre property that wind around and through old pines and maple trees, complete with spiders webs and hidden benches for resting.  This property is Awesome –– with blueberries, apple trees, 3 large, raised garden beds with squash, lettuce, strawberries and more.  There’s a tea house with its wall of windows, built in bench and working woodstove for cozy days and nights where you desire being outside, but with a bit of shelter.  And, shiver me timbers, don’t forget the pirate’s tree house where you can hold lads and lassies hostage for gold (or fresh raspberries from the garden!).  There’s even a half-pipe ramp for skater friends built against the side of the house, and a new deck, and a hot tub.  As someone who likes to bike commute, my client has a challenging uphill ride back home from downtown Portland up through Riverview Cemetery and SW Arnold that is not for the weak of thigh, but he is excited about the opportunity to sweat off his workday.  The house itself was built mid-century and is in great shape, with clean lines, ample light, hardwoods, two fireplaces, and a fully updated kitchen.  And did I mention that this buyer asked if he could put his dog on the title?  Yes, he admits, he really bought the ample acreage for his best friend to enjoy.  Now who could deserve all of this more?

Sold for $370,000
