Greetings.  My name is Katrina Bell and I have been a real estate broker in Portland for almost 7 years.  I got into this business because I had a strong desire to build my own business and spend my days doing work that I love. My background prior to real estate was marketing communications, both print and online, and selling houses has been a perfect way for me to do the things I love to do most: work with people and create killer marketing programs.  The shift of real estate to the online world is heaven for me as I continue to look for new ways to sell houses and communicate with my clients and professional network.

I work with buyers and sellers mostly in Portland’s close-in neighborhoods. As a mom of school age kids, I have spent lots of time learning about schools and love to help families with the process of deciding where they fit best. I have negotiated many transactions and am frequently thanked after the close of the sale for remaining calm.  Buying a house is a big deal to most people and can be a stressful event.  My job is to make is as easy as possible for you.  I’m also the objective one with one eye on the property as something aesthetic and the other always as an investment.

I am grateful every day that I was invited to work at Living Room Realtors with some of the best agents in the Portland market, sharing a beautiful art-filled space, in a supportive and collaborative environment.

My heart is in close-in Southeast where I live in a 1923 bungalow in Ladd’s Addition.   When I found my house I was looking for a home where I could walk to the grocery store, great restaurants, and get to the Eastside Esplanade in 10 minutes on foot for a riverfront run.  I love Portland neighborhoods and helping my clients find where they fit best.

I love: running, art, book group, travel, pema chodron.  I’m a  mom to two amazing girls & a three year cancer survivor. Someday I’d like to be a roller derby girl too.
