Tim Pitts

Originally from the South, Tim moved to Portland in 2002, attracted to the city’s reputation for being walkable, hip, and friendly. He fell in love with Portland’s close-in North and Northeast neighborhoods, and for several years lived in the Mississippi District, watching it transform into a vibrant neighborhood.

Tim worked for several years at adidas, in a job that took him to Germany for a few years. While in Europe, he was amazed by the diversity of the architecture–spending time in cities like Rotterdam and Copenhagen gave him an appreciation for effective contemporary architecture and the ability to live well in a small space. Upon returning to Portland, Tim and his partner sold their four bedroom house, and currently live in a small mid-century duplex in Irvington.

Tim loves to help clients understand how to use a space, or rework a space to increase the functionality. His favorite houses to search for are cosmetic fixers, where he can help clients to see the potential of a house. Tim has renovated and sold several houses, and owns multiple rental properties. He works well with investors, providing data and analyzing the numbers to help clients find the property that is the best fit for them.

When not working, Tim enjoys traveling and being outside. He’s an avid runner, having completed several marathons and other races. He also enjoys riding his bike all over town and eating out at as many of Portland’s great restaurants as possible.
