Sometimes you just need a good psychic…

The session was a fun holiday gift from my husband.  I was in Los Angeles, pursuing a career in acting but the psychic said: “You have an amazing ability to turn a house into a home.  Where ever you live, whether it be a small one bedroom apartment or a large house, your home will be the one that gets noticed and remembered.”

A year later, it was definitely time for a career and location change & I realized that I had been given very clear and compassionate guidance about my true calling in that session. Long story short, I moved back to Oregon, where I grew up, and began a career as a professional Realtor in 2005.

I’m one of those lucky few, who can honestly say, “I love my job.”  I love the moment when a buyer walks into a house and the hair rises on the back of my neck, and we both know it’s “the one”.  I understand the privilege it is to help sellers skate, stomp, or crawl through a lifetime’s worth of experiences in order to begin the process of letting go and preparing a house for its next owners.  I love the “aha” moment that happens when a bit of staging advice creates a delightful change in how a house feels (cut to a client of mine dragging me excitedly into her kitchen to proudly show me her newly organized coffee/tea cabinet!) And I love seeing Portland, neighborhood by neighborhood, through the eyes of someone who is new to the area and giddy with excitement.

I was awarded the Five Star Real Estate Award for Excellence in 2010 and 2011.  I have a detailed and effective marketing plan to sell your home.  I will be relentless when it comes to finding you a house that you love.  And whether you are buying or selling, I will always work with your best interests in mind. I had the remarkable good fortune to receive clear and compassionate guidance in a time of transition and it is not without a sense of wonder & responsibility that I realize I have been called to a career that asks me to do the same for others.
