Jaime Arb Haessig

Greetings, thank you for taking the time to consider me as your future Realtor.   The most important things you should know about me are that I find great satisfaction in hard work and a doing my job well.   I am a caring, compassionate, patient and business savvy bargain hunter who always strives to give the best possible customer service.  I hold a Bachelors and Masters degree in social work and am a second generation real estate agent.  While specializing in the close-in neighborhoods of Portland, I have worked through nearly every possible transaction type; from building/development condos, single family residential, short sales, bank owned, and commercial properties.  There really isn’t much I haven’t seen in my five year real estate career where I have worked on well over 100 transactions with buyers and sellers.

Buyers.  I will be on my toes working hard for you throughout the search process until the day you get your keys and will continue to give you great service long after your purchase.  I have lived in several neighborhoods throughout Portland and spend my free time running and biking around our great city so knowing the neighborhoods is just what I do.  I will help you find the neighborhood and home that fits your lifestyle and budget perfectly.  When you are ready, I will walk you through writing a strong offer, negotiating the best price as well as any repairs, and closing of the purchase. I have developed an extensive list of excellent contractors to help in case the need for any repairs should arise.

Sellers.  If you are looking for an agent who will take you from “thinking about selling” to “sold” with confidence and grace, I’m your agent. I will help to prepare your property to look and show at its very best.  I will preview comparable properties, call other agents with similar listings and gather feedback from showings to price your home appropriately. From there I will use my strong networking skills to get the word out beyond the traditional advertising in order to move your home from just listed to just sold in a short amount of time.

It is my goal to give you the best service possible so that you not only have a great home buying or selling experience but also never forget my name when conversations about real estate come up with friends and family. I run a referral based business and if I give you great service my business will continue and prosper.   My business is all about you and taking care of the details so that you can relax and remember me fondly when its all over.

Miscellany

When not working, you will typically find me spending time with friends, family and my unique mystery mutt, Frank.  I get out enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest and all it has to offer as often as possible.  Each year I donate a portion of my real estate income to Habitat for Humanity, the Oregon Food Bank, the Oregon Humane Society, and Compassion International.  My husband and I have purchased and remodeled multiple properties.  We have dreams of developing a co-housing project one day.  We currently own a duplex in the Alberta Arts neighborhood where we lived for 3+ years.  We now live in the Cully neighborhood of NE Portland in a bungalow we restored.  We love our home and take pride in seeing our ideas turn into a great end product.  I love to entertain and garden in our large yard.

Jaime went way beyond our expectations.  We were first time home buyers and had a very complicated loan as well as additional complications with the sewer system located on the property.  Jaime found the solutions to the problems before we even knew they existed.  She could most likely answer any question regarding party lines in the sewer in any inner NE neighborhood!  She did such an excellent job of communicating with the sellers and their realtor because we had to extend our close date a couple of times.  She was also a great advocate for us and really went to bat when negotiating our agreement with the sellers.  We would never even think of using another realtor.  I mean, how can you not love a woman who’s husband randomly sneaks his very old Hulk Hogan doll into the back of her car, just for her clients to get a kick out of!
