OUR GOAL:

To provide every client personal service and strategic, thoughtful negotiation.

I have been selling real estate since 1987 and take great pride in my ability to guide buyers and sellers through every step of the process. I genuinely understand that purchasing or selling a home is a major financial and emotional decision. This understanding generates repeat business and referrals from past clients. Present and past clients will attest that my advice is honest, I possess strong negotiating skills and always have their best interests in mind. I value integrity, tenacity and professionalism and I strive to show my clients and my cooperating real estate brokers these qualities throughout each transaction.

I am a native Oregonian. I have resided in Portland Heights, Lake Oswego, South- east Portland and have lived in Northeast Portland since 1981.

My special passion is for older homes—their history and the various neighbor- hoods where they reside. I’ve had the privilege of restoring several with my hus- band. This firsthand experience has proven invaluable in helping buyers and sellers know what repairs or improvements are most cost effective, how long it takes, what the costs might be, and where to go for professional services. We currently live in an 1885 home in Sullivan’s Gulch which we converted from a duplex back to its original single family layout.

I have three grown children and five wonderful grandchildren which I am lucky to have all residing in the Portland area. My husband and I also have a cabin on
Mt. Hood. My spare time is spent enjoying my family and friends; I love to cook and entertain and also enjoy traveling, hiking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing, yoga and Pilates.

In January 2012, Noël Jackson and I decided to combine our real estate knowl- edge and created Jackson Hart Associates. Our referral network is well respected and very loyal. It includes contractors, plumbers, electricians, inspectors and paint- ers, as well as a broad spectrum of professionals that we depend on every day: doctors, dentists and other small business owners.

I feel that I bring a fresh perspective and an energy to the home buying and selling process because I understand people’s needs and can translate that to getting the most out of the real estate market. It’s a passion of mine and my client’s happiness is crucial to my success. For me, that means a lot of listening. I don’t tell clients what to do, but I make sure they have all the information they need to empower them to make the best decision.

I have lived and worked in the Portland area for more than 20 years. I know and love it well—from its quirkiest quarters to the most elegant enclaves. My clients become part of my community. I work to make meaningful connections that last. My referral network is well respected and very loyal. I love what I do and became a Broker to help people and make the process an enjoyable transition. My experience has given me the exposure to many unique aspects of real estate, which I feel is beneficial to my clients. I don’t consider myself a sales person, as much as a counselor, problem solver or second opinion when requested. I do many things which some may find aren’t necessary, but I do them because I want to, because it’s the right thing to do and at the end of the day, I’m happy because I did.

I grew up in Geneva, Illinois, a small town outside Chicago. I came to Oregon in 1985 to attend Lewis & Clark College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs, with an emphasis in Eastern European studies. I met my husband, David, in college. We now have two children, plus a Portuguese Water Dog. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family either on the soccer field, in the pool or working out at my gym, CF Human Evolution Labs (www.humanevolutionlabs.com).

We live in a 1928 Tudor, in a really wonderful neighborhood and community. I truly appreciate the “character and charm” of older homes but understand the benefits a newer home provides.
