Chandra Ashford

Hi I am Chandra Noble-Ashford and I am originally from California, Monterey/Santa Cruz area to be specific. I graduated with a degree in film from California State Monterey Bay.  The thing I excelled at in film school and the thing that everyone came to me for was to find the perfect location for shooting.  I feel like finding your personal location for life is something that I am good at as well.

I moved to the Portland area 7+ years ago and I want to help other people move to Portland!   I would love it if I could be your agent and represent you in finding your dream home in the Portland area.   I feel as though I belong in Portland and I hope to help others experience the joy that living here has brought me and my family.

I love everything about Portland, even the rain (most of the time).  I love the history of the city. I love it when the leaves change color.  I love going to the river in the summer time.  I love the food carts.  I love the coffee shops.  I love the people.  I love Powell’s.  I love…well you get the picture…

As your buyer’s agent I promise to always listen to you.  To remind you what you are looking for.  I will be on the lookout for your perfect house (even when I should be watching the road).  I will always be honest.  I won’t push you, or sell you. When I list your home, I will help you understand the market.  I will price your home competitively.   I will help you get it ready for showing or help you stage it.  I will make sure your home appears on Zillow, Trulia, Craigslist, etc.  I want your home to sell as much as you do and will work tirelessly to get it sold.

I spent 2 years with a larger company doing transaction coordination and a bit after getting licensed but felt like Living Room Realtors appealed to me on a lot of levels.  I like the intimate feel.  I like that people at Living Room are concerned with being environmentally low impact.  Living Room has a very Portland specific feel to it, and ultimately that is what living here is all about that we all “get it”.

About me personally, I have 2 kids, aged 8 and 13 in Portland Public Schools.  I am married to an awesome man who is I like to call a crazy cat lady.  We have cats…and chickens…and a chinchilla…and a cockatiel, and fish, oh and a lizard too.  I am addicted to coffee, beets,  sci-fi books, and tattoos.

We weren’t sure we were even ready to upgrade to a house from our condo.
