Brooks are Terri were ideal clients.  Relocating from Albequerque, they came well experienced in the home ownership department.  They were familiar enough with Portland to know exactly which neighborhoods they wanted to live within, and yet were willing to explore a wide variety of homes before ruling anything out.  Their short list of non-negotiable criteria included a quick commute to Brook’s office in the Pearl, a master suite, some level yard for their beloved dog Aspen, and easy access to Portland’s lush running trails.  The low inventory didn’t make this as easy as it might sound, but they never gave up hope that their Portland home would reveal itself in good time.  And so it did.

This Arlington Heights home came on the market around dinner time one evening.  Brooks was flying out of town for business the next morning, and we knew other buyers would quickly be circling this rare newer construction, craftsman beauty.  We made a quick plan to meet “in 20 minutes” as they were already popping in the car to do a drive-by.  Sure enough, the long wait was definitely worth landing this very solid home.

This one is  built like a fortress, with great light, an open floor plan, ample master suite, private backyard, and spacious 2-car garage.  Arlington Heights is one of Portland’s oldest residential neighborhoods.  It exudes a quiet elegance with the benefit of being surrounded by green space.  My clients can now access the Wildwood trail from their home, and can easily walk to summer concerts at the Rose Garden.
